Well, after over 20 years of being together, my wife and I are finally calling it Quits.

Quits on putting off our date-nights.
Quits on more “Me-time” than “We-time”.
Quits on ignoring each other’s Love-Language.
Quits on snappy words of correction and more words of affection.
And Finally, Quits on carrying a grudge & more spontaneous hugs.

Yes that’s right folks, there are some changes underway in the Crawford house-hold. We’re calling it “Quits” on continuing to turn a blind eye and saying a big “YES” to getting back to those little things that matter most and I’m getting more “Touch” and she’s getting more “Time” and that’s making my smile even bigger these days. 🙂

So, is it time for you and your special someone to call it “Quits” in this new season too? Hmmm… No need to answer out loud, just make us all proud and be different than the popular crowd.

Keep Making those relationships GREAT!

One of the biggest wastes of time this side of the universe is a life lived in pursuit of succeeding at something that in the grand-scheme of things doesn’t really matter. It would be like taking a thousand mile road trip only to realize at the end that you took a wrong turn back at Albuquerque.

So now is a good time to think about what really matters and what goal and direction would actually be worth the journey of your life. And, never ever forget that in this “life” thing we only get one time through, so let’s not waste our time just trying to make it good. Let’s invest our time wisely in a sincere effort to Make it GREAT doing what really matters. 🙂

Make it GREAT!!!

One of the best ways to succeed at something in life is to first conduct an exploratory investigation to figure out why others have failed at it and then, quite simply, DON’T DO WHAT THEY DID! 🙂

That’s right my friends, some of the best lessons I’ve ever learned in this “life” thing have been the ones I learned from the failures and experiences of others. Sounds simple enough right? But you’d be surprised how complicated some tend to make this process as oftentimes it seems that they would prefer to try it out themselves.

So I invite you to consider the following unsolicited advice today. Don’t just seek-out ways to succeed, it can be equally as important to also pay close attention to why others have failed. Simply put, on the journey through the minefield of life, it may be a good idea to follow someone who knows where NOT to step. Make’s simple since to me. 😉

Let’s Make it GREAT!

I woke up this morning and was lying in my most inspirational position which is flat on my back looking up at the ceiling when suddenly it dawned on me that one day I will probably take my last breath of life in this same position.

Then I began to think about when that day comes, what phrase would I want to best describe my life’s journey at that moment of reflection, and here’s what I came up with: “I had a Ball and tried to capture it All to make others T.A.L.L. (Think-Act-Laugh-Learn)”.

I truly believe that our accumulation of life experiences are for us to share with others so that they can learn from our good and not-so-good actions thereby increasing the chances that others will know better and do better. After all, making this world better for all to see starts with what others see in you and me.

So, what will be your phrase of reflection when that inevitable last hour comes for you? No need to answer out loud, just make us proud and stand out from the crowd as you attempt to Make it GREAT!

Are you up for a friendly round of “Truth or Dare” this week? Ok, here goes…

I “Dare” you to commit a completely Random-Act-of-Kindness (RAK) to a complete stranger then post the “Truth” about their reaction and how it made you feel. This type of activity is actually contagious and it certainly would be nice if we started a full-blown RAK-Epidemic.

Oh, by-the-way, this RAK doesn’t have to be with money and it doesn’t have to be anonymous. You can be as creative as you “Dare” to be. 😉

Wanta play? Well, you have an entire week. So, Ready, Set, GO!
