Over the years I’ve spent and wasted countless hours of time with people who seek and ask for my direction and advice and enthusiastically listen and agree with me but fail to alter their behavior and actions in honor of the new-found information.  I affectionately call these people “AskerNot’s” because they ask for advice but do not follow it.

It seems to me that the grade level and proficiency of a student should be dictated and determined by ones ability to take what they’ve learned and apply it to their life.  The speed that it takes to go from not knowing to knowing and application is paramount to the learning process because as I’ve said before, to know and not “do” is the same as not knowing.

As a result of the afformentioned, I invite you to consider the following in the days ahead.  Whatever you decide to be when you grow up, please make sure you take “AskerNot” off of the list.  Only doer’s can play amongst the stars.

Let’s continue to make it GREAT!
