I was at the eye doctor recently and an interesting parallel about vision suddenly crossed my mind and I’m confident that it can be of some value to you today.

Those who have perfect eyesight are said to have 20/20 vision, meaning they can see things both near and far with relatively the same amount of clarity.  And those who have less than 20/20 vision are encouraged to wear corrective lenses or have corrective surgery so that they too can see and experience the same.  Hmmm…

Well, I invite you to consider the following.  Knowing who we are and being crystal clear about our purpose for being here gives us a 20/20 vision type of clarity as it relates to life.  And those who are unclear about these two things may be in need of a little corrective assistance.

To that end, I have found that simplification and clarification makes way for amplification.  Yes that’s right friends, if you simplify your life and seek to become clear about who you are and your real and true purpose for being here, this makes room for your growth in all areas of life, spiritually, emotionally, physically and financially.

The old 1972 hit song by the legendary Johnny Nash says, “I can see clearly now the rain is gone…”  But I submit to you that if we know who we are and our distinct purpose for being here, we should then be able to see clearly even in the heaviest of rains.

So how’s your vision today?  Are you experiencing the comfort and clarity 20/20 vision can bring?  Or, are you in need of some corrective lenses?  Hmmm…  No need to raise your hand, just hear and understand and make your plan and don’t forget to Make it GREAT!

Just a little food-for-thought for someone out there who’s sitting on the fence of confusion or obscurity as it relates to making a decision about something or someone in your life.

There are few things in this life that are more powerful than the clarity of a made-up mind.  This level of conviction is absolutely necessary if great things are to become a reality for you.  So, make up your mind today to say “No” or “Go” while you still have time and get out there and Make it GREAT

Years ago, Grandma at times would call me a “good for nothing” as she pushed me out the door to do a chore or two.  Sure she meant this phrase in derision but now years later I’ve taken the phrase and redefined it with a positive tilt.

A “Good for Nothing” is simply someone who vows to do ‘good’ in their respective community expecting ‘nothing’ in return.  That’s right folks, giving of your time, talents, treasures and tears so that someone else may have a brighter day ranks up there with the noblest of activities this side of heaven.

So are you a “Good for Nothing”?  Are you one that can be counted-on instead of being counted-out when it comes to making a difference?  Are you one that will show-up instead of shut-up?  Hmmm…  No need to answer out loud, just continue to make us proud as you stand out from the crowd.

I would love for you “Good for Nothings” to sign up as a member of my official website so that I can inspire you along your way to making it GREAT!  It’s totally FREE and doesn’t take more than 30 seconds.  Every two weeks I’ll email you a short video to motivate, inspirate and educate you.  These videos are personal videos from me that are crafted specifically for “Good for Nothings.

So, dare to join us today.  We’re on our way to becoming a million strong and we’d love to take you along.

One must be willing to walk the gauntlet of ridicule and subject themselves to the sneers and jeers of the opposition if you truly want to accomplish something that’s significant and makes a difference in this imperfect world of ours.

Yes, this is definitely an unavoidable prerequisite for all things great no doubt.  So I caution you to be prepared to pay the price to change a life as you attempt to Make your noble mission GREAT!

Change is in the air, so if you‘re in need of a little bit, just reach up and grab it.

Change is an acronym I created that simply means to “Consider Having A New Goal to Explore.”

So, if exploring a new goal is something you’re considering these days, go ahead and reach up and grab it.  I know sometimes it can be scary, but sometimes scary is necessary for us to make it GREAT!
